As the fight on 11th December 2008 was a mandatory defense there was not a rematch clause in the contract. As such any rematch would only happen if the fighters management and promoters agree to holding one and as is the way with big title fights these days that means that a television network would need to take up the fight for broadcasting.

To achieve this it is necessary to ensure that the television networks and promoters are kept constantly aware of just how exceptional this fight was and that the public want a rematch.

The best way to do this is by people keep talking about it, for the media to keep publishing comments about it.

Boxing Fans

One of the best ways to do this is via message boards - start discussion subjects that involve Cunningham vs Adamek. or question when there will be a rematch. If possible always try to have Cunningham vs. Adamek in the title. - But don't flood the boards or we could find ourselves alienating other users. Write to boxing magazines asking when will there be a Cunningham vs Adamek rematch.

Register on our message board and at least make one posting - believe it or not if the message board has a very high membership showing and steady usage it will make the networks sit up and take notice.Traffic at this site is very important for the campaign as it is a visable evidence of support.

Request interviews with Steve 'USS' Cunningham and Tomasz 'Goral' Adamek and discuss the first fight and ask when there will be a rematch.

As often as possible use the first fight as an example within the context of articles.

To this end we have prepared a petition which will be sent to the television networks and the promoters once an adequate amount of 'signatures' are received.
